Brands Hatch Banter Team BMSport would like to thank all family, friends and customers that came to Brands Hatch on the 23rd August to see us all race. With our six cars out there and coupled with glorious weather, we hope you enjoyed our races and got a chance to top your tans up :-) Congratulations to Piers who came 3rd in race 1 and 2nd in race 2, his trophy cabinet is looking quite good this year, we just hope he gets that elusive 1st place that is just waiting for him. As it stands, Piers is now 2nd in class A and has a fighting chance for being Class A champion if he keeps up his outstanding driving. With just a few points between him and championship leader Dave Kempton, it will make for an interesting few more rounds. Well done to Tom, who fought his way from 7th to 4th in race 1. Neil kept his 13th position during race 1, but a 1st corner incident in race 2 ended his race there and then. Stephan had a few issues with his gearbox and diff over the 2 races after a little excursion into the gravel at Paddock Hill bend during testing on Friday, but he kept himself out of any racing incidents over the 2 races. Nigel and Jags, ended up racing each other through a poor start and 1st corner incident over the 2 races, mixing it up with Adrian Gilbert, Stuart Laws and Mark Capewell, it made a real entertaining racing. Hope to see you at the remaining rounds.
