CSL Dyno day We have many dyno days at BMSport organised by various internet forums, magazines and car clubs, but our most refreshing of dyno days was held on the 2nd July '09 and we thought this one was a little bit special. This dyno day was organised by Rohan from the CSL Register and comprised of 5 vibrant coloured E9 CSL's, a refreshing change to see against the usual silvers and blacks that are common on our roads today. The cars all assembled themselves at BMSport HQ around midday in the blistering July sunshine (one of the few days this year). Getting into these cars was not a first, but always has an air of nostalgia about it. Lot's of glass to look out of, the lack of safety equipment that is around you, 4 speed gearboxes and the pedals and steering feeling mechanical without any electronic aids - great! Power out puts varied from 160BHP - 206BHP (bang on standard power) which for some 30 year old cars is impressive to see. With a couple of cars booked into see where their missing horses have gone, it was a most enjoyable afternoon.
