BMsport is offering a carbon airbox conversion for all E36 M3s through out November for just Ł1100+VAT, normal price Ł1400+VAT.

Project Cars: Piers Ross' BMW E36 M3 1998

Developed from a standard 1998 Techno Violet E36 M3 Evo, this car is now a full blown race car being completely stripped out and featuring many modifications.

Engine:

- 3.2 litre with VANOS removed producing 335 BHP

- ITG air filter with carbon airbox

- MBE engine management

Chassis:

- 3-Way adjustable, remote reservoir Black Art Design. We have had a bespoke system made for Piers to improve traction, be compliant enough to allow him to ride the kerbs and to help push the inside wheel down onto the tarmac where it used to have the tendency to lift.

Braking:

- AP 4 pot front calipers with Ferodo DS3000 brake pads

- Standard rear calipers with Ferodo DS3000 brake pads

Body:

- Full weld in 'Custom Cages' roll cage, attached to front and rear turrets and diff mounts

- Light weight bonnet

- Touring car rear spoiler

- Perspex windows
