After many years of developing Chris' 1.8 M40 with various cams, Dbilas throttle bodies and MBE engine management it was never quite fast enough for the chassis or for Chris. So Chris took the plunge and wheeled a S54 3.2 engine into our workshop and ask us to install it. A few months later Chris finally had the animal he was after, a de-vanosed S54 running MBE engine management and producing 348bhp through the E46 6 speed gearbox and an E36 M3 rear axle.

Slowing down this monster is taken care with the Brembo 4 pot front brakes and Ferodo pads front and rear. Handling is all kept in check with the use of Black Art Design coil over suspension, adjustable camber/caster front top mounts, adjustable rear suspension arms and Powerflex bushes fitted through out.

Next on the agenda is a bolt in roll cage.
