BMsport now carry out Walnut Blasting decokes to direct injection engines, this is proving to be very popular on the BMW N53, N54 engines and the Mini R56 amongst others. With engines showing considerable build up of carbon at just 30,000 miles, it makes an instant improvement to how they drive. The photos attached are from a BMW N53 engine, on initial inspection the carbon build up didn’t look too bad but the difference after the walnut blasting had been carried out proved that even what some may call a reasonable amount of carbon build up was still too much.
